General Information

The T-14 Armata stands out as a T5 Siege Tank, exclusively unlockable through blueprint acquisition in Events.

Weapons

The main gun fires explosive rounds at enemy targets, inflicting damage in a small hit radius.

Additionally, the T-14 can be equipped with a secondary weapon. The RMG 12.7mm, unlocked at level 8 with the MK.I blueprint from Events, is shared with several other mid-game units such as the Stryker IFV, Ontos II, and Merkava, dealing decent siege damage at range but only targets ground units and has a long delay between bursts. Due to its disadvantages, the weapon only serves as a transitional alternative to its M134 Minigun. The M134 Minigun boasts a larger ammo capacity, higher rate of fire, and can target all enemy units, making it the go-to option once it becomes avaliable.

Usage in Battle

The T-14 maintains its primary purpose, serving as a damage sponge for allied ground units while dealing heavy damage to enemy structures. It does this much better than the Merkava, as it has better secondary options and can achieve higher stats. It shares the Vet Tank Crew one secondary with The Merkava, which makes it a better transitional option than the Leopard 2A7. While its armor and defense equipment equipment are only shared by later units like the Leopard 2A7, HIMARS and MANTIS, they allow players to upgrade these early. In general, players will find value in this unit with its improved ability to fight off enemy defenders, as the M134 Minigun secondary provides limited defense against large swarms of enemy infantry, can quickly damage light vehicles and also targets air, but it's better to employ the S1 Pantsir against bigger threats like the AC-130 Spooky or MI-28.

The only bad aspect about the T-14 Armata is how much investment it requires for a mediocre result, as the improvement is relatively minuscule over Merkava IVm. It isn't even notable as the FOB 8 Tank since it is quickly outclassed by the Leopard 2A7, its expensive FOB 9 equivalent, which not only costs more but also has a wider range of applications and much higher stats. As such, players may have to weigh their priorities over the value of their investment.
