General Information

The Cougar presents a more economical option compared to the Humvee, featuring similar overall stats and sharing multiple equipment slots, albeit with a lower squad count. It possesses the ability to engage Fixed-Wing Aircraft with comparable base DPS.

Upon reaching level 2, the Cougar can carry a Machine Gunner Squad five units, making it the first IFV avaliable. This upgrade, other than improving the vehicles' own stats, will cause it to spawn five of them on destruction, with the deployed units being uncontrollable but scale with those in the player's arsenal. It doesn't excel at destroying structures, but its primary weapon is able to target all units, with equipment boosting its efficient against Helicopters.

While the Cougar shares similarities with the Humvee, it offers distinct advantages. Though fewer Cougars can enter combat, their destruction doesn't significantly diminish the player's firepower, as for 50 capacity they and their payload combined is worth tripe of it ech. When used with heavier vehicles, the Machine Gunners can distract enemy turrets, buying time for other Heavy Vehicles to strike, all while doing extra damage, potentially exceeding of the Cougar itself. Despite lacking bonuses to structures, Helicopters are no less threatening, giving it a good niche in defending against Cobras.
