About this unit

KA-50 Black Shark is a T5 units that need level 4 Helipad to get access to and you also need to acquire it blueprint in Events to unlock it

KA-50 take up to 225 space per unit (25 higher than the Apache) but it offer more weapons that can dish out lots of damage, demolish anything in one burst

But to reach it full potential, you need to upgrade it to level 10 to unlock other modules and it secondary weapon slots

Weaponary

KA-50 have 2 secondary weapon slots, one with the Storm Missiles which you will unlock it at level 4 and S-8 Rocket Pots and Twin 40mm GSH Cannon (which you will need to buy their MK I separately in event in order to upgrade and unlock the MK III)

Note: all KA-50 weapons can be fire while moving as long their targets are in front of them

The 9M114 Storm missiles deal armor piercing damage against ground units, deal with MK III blueprint it have faster reload, more range and bonus damage against heavy vehicles

S-8 80mm Rocket Pods

This weapon fire 5 explosive missile at ground targets only, deal medium damage, really effective against swarm of enemy infantry and destroying surrounding barriers near the target area , with MK III blueprint it will have faster reload time and bigger splash radius

GSH Cannon pod

These things deal ballistic damage and target all units (even ingame it said only target ground) fire in burst and then reload, serve mostly as additional anti-air weapon for the KA-50, with MK III blueprint it will have increased rate of fire and extra rounds per magazine

S-10

It fire 2 explosive missiles with high damage per missile and it can be upgraded up to MK IV, with MK IV blueprint it will have increased hit radius, damage, reload speed

Overall, KA-50 have alot different weapon type on a unit, this allow it can effectively deal with any targets

Combat

Depend on the weapons you equipped with the KA-50 it will serve the right purpose, you can make it cause chaos with S-8 rocket pod and S-10 or you can turn it into a air slaughter helicopter with it GSH Cannon pod, the only downside of the KA-50 is because it is a helicopter it have problem like other helicopter unit (stuck in barrel and depend just spinning like a bunch of idiots) and of course being an air unit make them are vulnerable against any anti air damage sources, make sure to destroy enemies anti-air defense before you deploy them
