General Information

The Serket is a Tier 9 Light Vehicle, exclusively unlockable through blueprint acquisition in Events.

Weapons

Serket comes with a sophisticated healing aura.

  • On manual activation, Serket heals itself and any other friendly ground units (including FOB units or those deployed from other units) nearby that are not destroyed for a percentage of their maximum health, totaling up to 14% over the course of 4 seconds (occurs at a rate of 3.5% second). This ability has a base cooldown of 12 seconds.
    • Healing effects suffer a 50% multiplicative penalty for higher-tier units. For example, assuming Serket is not boosted by equipment, it will heal itself and a Prowler IFV for up to 14%, whereas the DLP-Sabre and Antodon are healed for only 7%.
    • Serket's healing aura will automatically immobilize any affected targets and prevent them from attacking in exchange for granting invulnerability and removing Fire DOT for each instance of healing, but doesn't interact with stun.
      • If Serket itself is stunned while healing, it will not release any healing pulses until the stun effect expires.
      • If Serket is not healing while stunned, it is either unable to activate its healing ability, or its cooldown pauses. These persist until the stun wears off.
  • Extra health granted by Serket can stack with multiple uses, but cannot overflow and remains for the rest of the battle, only draining when the affected unit loses all of its base health. As such, Serket's healing has no effect on oil costs, which will never exceed their usual maximum.
    • Healed units will have a green section over the unit's usual health meter.

Usage In Combat

The Serket is a support unit that focuses on healing-friendly ground units. The Serket has a maximum platoon limit of one and takes 250 platoon capacity.

Offense

Serket's percentage-based healing proves invaluable for every ground-based platoon, to the point where it retains its relevance even in company of higher-tier units despite the penalty. If necessary, it can be customized with RNC/Ashi/BOLO variant tech equipment, which boost its healing efficiency for Heavy Vehicles/Light Vehicles/Infantry.

Serket's healing aura has a number of uses. Invincibility is obviously the main selling point, allowing a group of units to safely bait otherwise lethal attacks while buying others a large window of opportunity. The countermeasures provided by the Serket also helps to neutralize specific projectiles, but should not be actually relied upon.

As Serket is completely defenseless, leaving it to the AI is simply unwise. Instead, players should exercise intensive micromanagement to steer the platoon clear of hazards, particularly when supporting slower units or when up against high-tier threats that can easily destroy it.

Trivia

  • While Serket can carry countermeasures that function like weapons, it remains the only unit that cannot damage others.
  • Serket is the sole unit to lack DPS numbers in the armoury. Its blueprint reward in events somehow has a DPS value, though as it can't attack, it remains zero.
  • Serket is an Egyptian Goddess that represents healing against venomous stings or bites, in this case tying in with its ability to regenerate health for itself or other units.
  • The Serket is the only light vehicle in the entire game that cannot be used as a defender.
