General Information

The Valkyrie is a Tier 7 Helicopter, exclusively unlockable through blueprint fragment collection in Events.

Weapons

Valkyrie's Rocket Pods fire Armor-Piercing Rockets at all targets inflicting damage in a small hit radius.

Additionally, the Valkyrie can be equipped with a handful of secondary weapons:

• The first slot, unlocked at level 2, only has the 2A72-V Autocannon, which only targets ground, with a bigger punch against all structures.
• The second slot, unlocked at level 4, only has the GPU-44 BMG, which attacks everything and helps removing small threats, but is especially deadly against Light and Heavy Vehicles.
• The fifth slot, unlocked at level 10, only has the WM530-5 Autocannon, a powerful multipurpose instrument that ravages Heavy Vehicles and Defense Platforms.

Trivia

• Valkyrie was the first unit in general with the ability to drop other units on-demand, specifically Dragoons and Spartans, and the first helicopter to carry other units. It would hold these titles until the addition of:
  • Oshka, another helicopter that releases its payload on destruction, which can contain an Aquila, Corvus, Noctua or 2 Kodiaks.
  • Noctua, which was released with equipment that allowed it, Aquila and Corvus to manually deploy QMR-Ridgeback and QMR-Kuvasz.
• In Norse mythology, Valkyries are female figures who guide the spirits of those killed in action.
• With its massive size, antennae and configutation, Valkyrie is based on the CH-53K King Stallion.
